ScreenRifle 1.1

November 23rd, 2007 · No Comments

ScreenRifle is a simple, free program for taking full-screen or partial screenshots. Simply press the “Shoot fullscreen” or “Shoot region” button to take a screenshot. The program will then save a JPEG image containing the screenshot.

Everything is done automatically, so you don’t need any knowledge of image editors, print screen buttons etc. Since version 1.1, you can take screenshots of areas/regions of the screen too.

One of the major annoyances of customer support is communication. Clients may have a hard time explaining error messages or other computer-related problems and, as a result, supporters will have a hard time pinpointing and addressing the issue at hand. Sometimes VNC is a hassle to set up, if both parties are behind a NAT-router. If you are trying to help a client, asking them to install a VNC program and adjust router settings isn’t viable. But most people know how to send an email.
